What’s Hot for Ski Season 2010

22Nov10

Welcome to ski season in Park City. More storms on the way and here’s what’s new and fit to print ….

THE RESORTS – Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons are now open for business and Deer Valley is scheduled to open on December fourth. Check out significant changes at The Canyons at http://www.sltrib.com/sltrip/outdoors/50483623-117/canyons-terrain-park-resort.html.csp.

By the way, Ski Utah’s website is taking votes for your favorite snowflake commercial, it’s pretty funny, here’s the link to vote and win some new ski gear: http://www.skiutah.com/winter/snowflakeads/

REAL ESTATE SALES –According to The Western Mountain Resort Alliance, Park City trumps Vail in all properties sold for the first three quarters of 2010. Visit WMRA at http://www.westernmountainresortalliance.com/. Park City sales up 54% from 2009, new pending sales continue to improve, check out the attached graphs here https://greetingsfromthepark.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=162

CRÈME DE LA CRÈME – Grand opening of The Montage scheduled for Thursday, December 9th 2010 and what’s really cool is their hosting the public for a sneak peak Community Open House on Wednesday, December 8th 2010.

FOOD & BOOZE – The old Stew Pot location, in Deer Valley Plaza, turns into The Market Café this season serving soups sandwiches and pastries. The market Café will also offer up groceries, liquor, and wines … a first for lower Deer Valley.

FROM US TO YOU – Happy Thanksgiving, and we would love to hear your comments.

See you on the mountain!
